Handloom Weaving in Kutch, India

The weaving I saw in the village of “Rann of Kutch”, Kutch, Gujrat was men's winter shoulder cloth (rough woollen shawls) which are used by the local population for everyday use.

Pit Looms The weaver sits on cushions on the floor and puts his/her feet into a pit which houses the loom paddles.
