Batik in Kutch (Production workshop)

This workshop produces mostly household linens & cloth (large items)

	Design is first stamped on the cloth with wooden blocks dipped in wax

-Batiked cloth is than dyed in the dye baths of acid dyes in the dye-shed
-Cloth is than boiled few times and every efford is made to save the wax by skimming the boiling water
-Cloth is than washed
-This process of boiling and washing is repeated few times to remove all the wax
