Saree

Saree is a traditional garment, worn by women in most part of India.

The saree is basically a 5 meters long and 120 cms wide rectangular length of rectangular cloth, which is draped around women's body. There are several styles in which saree may be draped. Originally each style corresponded to the needs of specific sects or communities and therefore, saree dimensions and design proportions may vary in size from 5 meter to 9 meter.

Saree has distict design features, center field with thin border on both long side, and pullav (border) on each end, smaller less decorative on one side and elaborate one on the other.
